What’s been key to that? [Internal and external factors]

  • We have established a focused positioning and articulation of that positioning: ‘It’s business, but it’s personal’.
  • We are focused on living our core values and make sure they are embedded in everything we do.

  • Substance underpins creativity.

What are your top tips for other businesses?

  • The good ones don’t need tips from me. The bad ones won’t listen.

Why is it important for growth where your office is based?

  • We need to be close to the courts, and close to the centre of London where many of our clients are based, or do business.

How has being based in Midtown helped you?

  • We have an increased awareness of our environment and are more plugged in to the area and the other businesses that operate here, expanding our connections and feeling part of a community.

How long have you been based in the Midtown area?

  • Since the 1960’s, so about 50 years now.

How has the inmidtown BID supported you?

  • Made it easy for us to behave as a decent, thoughtful and sustainable business.
  • Facilitated connections between us and local businesses.

You took part in the Midtown Big Ideas Exchange – what was the one thing you would take away from that programme of events that will benefit you or your business?

  • Powerful connections are on your doorstep
