London’s thinnest home for sale for £235,000. We don't know where to start

This London “house” is for sale for £235,000.

We seem to have unknowingly passed into some kind of alternate universe where it’s acceptable to put walls in the gap between two houses in Glenwood Road in Harringay to make a new house.

It’s perfect for anyone who likes all their rooms shaped like hallways or for people suffering from the crippling condition Flat Stanleyism.

Flat Stanley

Beloved literary character Flat Stanley would be at home in the Glenwood Road property.

Here are some pictures of the two-bedroom “house”.

In my day, a house like this would have cost about £12,000 - and I’m only 25. I just can’t even.

  • Poor suckers who will pay this to live in Harringay/London in that little hole!

  • The responsible person at the planning department should be sacked for permitting this

  • Ha, brilliant, thanks Cathy! Looks like the place needs a conservatory (jokes, obviously it's a historical landmark). At least the council has said it's unfit to live in, which should happen to a lot of London properties!

  • This house is just a long corridor with a bathroom at the end. I know the prices in London are crazy but this is ridiculous! Well, at least keeping it clean should be easy.

    Best Regards
