The Mellier in Mayfair, a luxury residential apartment complex, boasts “London’s largest flats” for having the largest room dimensions and highest ceilings of any new apartment development in central London, according to developer Glebe.

The ceilings of the three-bedroom apartments reach up to 3.5m (11.5ft) and the bedrooms are 6.5m by 5.3m in size.

According to Glebe, the apartments at The Mellier are the “equivalent of extremely large five bedroom flats”.

The building has a bit of a history - In 1908, it became a showroom for Lancia motorcars. From 1920 it became the headquarters of Lendrum & Hartman, luxury motorcar dealers for Buick and Cadillac.
