Brrrr.. London set to get snow as Met office issues weather warning

Londoners should brace themselves for snow as the Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for London & “many areas” of south east England.

The capital is set to get snow, slush and wintry showers which can possibly cause travel disruption, forecasters warned.

In a statement on its website, it said: “An area of low pressure is expected to move eastwards on Friday. There is considerable uncertainty in its track and therefore on the risk and location of any snow.

“This warning will be kept under review and the public are advised to keep up to date with the forecast and warnings.”
