Nokia launches Lumia 2520 tablet and Windows phone

Nokia has launched a 10-inch tablet, the Lumia 2520, and a new Windows phone with a six-inch display at the Nokia World event in Abu Dhabi.

The tablet runs on Windows and has a 2.2GHz Snapdragon 800 processor. It also comes with LTE connectivity and a 6.7 megapixel camera.

Nokia also unveiled three successors to its Asha 501 smartphone that, much like the iPhone 5C, are available in bright red, bright green, yellow, cyan, white and black.

Nokia’s launch comes ahead of Apple’s big event today to reportedly launch the iPad 5 and a new series of MacBook Pro laptops. The event will take place in San Francisco and start at 6pm UK time. (Read: Apple iPad 5: Launch date, price and features)
