iPhone 6 could be massive, according to analyst

One analyst has upgraded Apple from “sector perform” to “outperform” as he thinks the iPhone 6 will be huge.

Andy Hargreaves at US investment bank Pacific Crest upgraded the tech company based on a number of assumptions about the new phone, according to Business Insider.

He reckons the iPhone 6 will be released in the autumn, will have a 4.7-inch screen and be $299 on contract in the states, which is not too far from the rumours we heard last year.

Hargreaves said Apple consumers were relatively rich so wouldn’t mind paying an extra $100 (compared to the iPhone 5s) for a more expensive phone, based on the fact most iPhone 5 customers got the 5s, compared to the cheaper 5c.

He also predicted Apple will only bring out one phone this year - rather than a phone and a iPhablet, like some people speculated.
