Have you seen Google’s new logo? You probably didn’t even notice

Google has changed its logo. Have you seen it?

The search giant has opted for a crazy new look – moving the second “g” one pixel to the right and the “l” one pixel to the right and one down.

Google hasn’t said why it made the change, which was spotted by Reddit users, and some sources are suggesting it’s in order to improve the readability of the logo. Looking at the gif below, you can see the first one looks like a bunch of hieroglyphs, while the second is clearly readable, so that makes sense.

The “l” and the “e” now line up perfectly at the bottom, which is great because that eyesore has been bugging us for years.
