What do women think of the three main party leaders? The truth is not very flattering

David Cameron is “pompous”, Nick Clegg is “spineless” and Ed Miliband is “boring”, according to a poll of women.

Both men and women were asked to come up with words to describe each of the party leaders in a poll by Tory peer and donor Lord Ashcroft.

Appearing in the top 20 most used words for women, David Cameron was described as “pompous”, and “incompetent”, Nick Clegg was described as “spineless” and “wet”, and Ed Miliband was described as “boring” and “slimy”.
