We put these politicians through Google’s Deep Dream. Don’t look unless you want nightmares

The software has brought out some interesting features

If you haven’t heard of Google Deep Dream you’re probably going to need a brief explanation before you look at these pictures.

The software was designed as an image recognition program but has been tweaked to produce crazy surreal hallucinogenic-like images.

It’s been named Deep Dream because of the nightmarish pictures that develop,

We ran some pictures of politicians through the software and freaked ourselves out. We’ve spotted what looks like a Chihuahua hiding between some flags, two monkeys with a howitzer and Osborne’s sock puppet hand. Did we miss anything else?

NB. Yes we know the New Statesman did a similar article a couple of days ago with Labour leadership candidates. It takes up to a week for Deep Dream to do its stuff, so the fact that we thought of a very similar idea is purely coincidental.
