We kid you not – Nigel Farage has been challenged to a duel by a Polish prince

Now THAT would be entertainment

Nigel Farage has been challenged to a duel in Hyde Park by a Polish prince.

Janek Żyliński, a Polish/British aristocrat, took to YouTube to challenge the UKIP leader to an 18th Century-style duel, swords and everything.

We were really laughing when we heard this news too. “What a nutbag!” we thought. “Who challenges someone to a duel in 2015?” we chortled.

But then we watched the video.

Speaking to the camera, Żyliński explains he’s the son of Andrzej Żyliński, a Polish military officer who saved 6,000 jews leading a cavalry against the Nazis in 1939.

He explains how he’s had enough of discrimination of Polish people in the UK and how he feels Nigel Farage is partly to blame for this.

Holding his father’s sword, he says: “So what I’d like to do is to challenge you to a duel. I’d like us to meet in Hyde Park one morning, with our swords, and resolve this matter.

“If his sword is a little rusty, we could meet in a studio for a duel of words in the run up to the election,” he adds.
