Pant-demonium

A website selling pants emblazoned with the London mayor’s face has repeatedly crashed as shoppers swarmed to snap up the mayoral undergarments.

In further disappointment for the prime minister, pants sold with his face on them were far less popular than his Tory rival.

Suzi Warren, owner of online retailer Twisted Twee, said: “We’ve had to restock several times. Not since Obama’s election have we had such a popular item! We’ve had interest from America too in the Boris pants, he is outselling everyone”!
