MPs are definitely going to get their 10% pay rise

News confirmed this morning

Ipsa, the independent parliamentary body that regulates MPs pay and expenses, has confirmed MPs will definitely be getting the mooted 10% pay rise.

They’re set to earn £74,000, a mighty £9,000 rise on what they currently earn.

This comes after George Osborne announced a 1% cap on public sector workers’ salaries rising.

However, many other MPs benefits have already been cut and the change won’t cost the taxpayer a penny more. Read our article which explains why.
