General Election 2015: Labour inches ahead in polls

Labour has inched out the Tories to take the lead in three opinion polls.

According to the polls, Miliband is now most likely to occupy Number 10 after May 7, with the lead his party has taken matched by growing public approval.

The news follows an attack by Tory defense secretary Michael Fallon, which was seen as a largely personal outburst.

A poll by panelbase put the Labour party six points ahead of the Conservatives, another by Survation put Labour four points ahead, and a TNS poll put the party three points ahead.

Meanwhile, more people said that Miliband was doing a good job than Cameron, Survation reports.

Nonetheless, Cameron is still far ahead of Miliband, with a 12-point lead, when people are asked who would make a better prime minister.
