Finally! Cameron to deliver EU speech on 23 January
Prime Minister David Cameron is set to deliver his much-awaited speech on Britain’s relationship with the EU this Wednesday.
A Downing Street spokesman said it would take place in London, explaining: “That’s what best fits the Prime Minister’s schedule this week.”
It will be in the morning, before Prime Minister’s questions and as the World Economic Forum opens in Davos.
Cameron was previously billed to maked his address on the subject last Friday in Amsterdam, but had to postpone it due to the hostage crisis in Algeria.
According to extracts put out last week, the Prime Minister will warn that Britain could “drift towards the exit” unless powers are handed back.
