One in three Scottish businesses could relocate after independence

One in three Scottish businesses could relocate if Scotland becomes independent.

More than a third of firms in Scotland would consider moving from the country if September’s referendum showed a yes vote.

According to the Mail on Sunday poll by Survation, only 15% of the 100 businesses asked thought an independent Scotland would be beneficial to their business, while 45% said it would be harmful.

Three quarters thought a currency union with the UK was essential or important for their business.
