Three lanes of the M25 are currently closed after part of the road collapsed.

Heavy rain and overnight roadworks are thought to be responsible for the subsidence on a section of the anticlockwise carriageway near Junction 9.

Drivers are currently experiencing two-hour delays to their journeys, with queues back to Junction 13.

The Highways Agency has advised people to consider different routes but workmen are already on the scene attempting to tackle the problem.
