Is your postcode the happiest in London? Take a look

Not if you live in Tooting…

The happiest and least happy places in London have been revealed.

All bar one of the top 10 happiest postcodes are in south London, a year-long observational study found, while south, east, west and central all featured in the least happy.

Interactive design firm Clubhouse Studios visited 119 postcodes measuring 714 hours of social interaction to see which postcodes had more positive interaction, such as laughing and hugging, and which were more negative, such as arguing and frowning.

The resultant project, called the Happy Forecast, shows which areas of London are happiest and which are the most grumpy.

It’s good news for SW6, which came out as the happiest, but not great for neighbours down the road in SW17, which came out as the least happy postcode.
