UK growth set to beat the rest of the G7

The UK is set to see the best GDP growth in the G7 this year.

Forecasts from EY ITEM Club show UK GDP will grow by 3.1% this year, while slow wage growth will mean interest rates will not rise until 2015.

“After several false starts, this time [the recovery] could be different,” said EY’s chief economist Mark Gregory.
