ASDA to open shopping collection points in Tube

If battling the queues at the supermarket on your way home fills you with dread, then ASDA may have found the solution, well, for some of London’s commuters at least.

The supermarket chain has agreed a deal with Transport for London to open click-and-collect shopping points in the car-parks of six Tube stations.

Customers who order their shopping online before 1pm will then be able to pick up their groceries on the same day from 4pm onwards.

The stations where the scheme is to be rolled out are East Finchley, Harrow and Wealdstone, High Barnet, Highgate, Stanmore and Epping.

The grocery collection points are part of a plan by the supermarket to open 1,000 more collection points over London and the south east over the next five years.
