Occupy London to target the Tube on May Day
Occupy London have announced a series of events to take place on May Day
We haven’t heard a whole lot of the Occupy London movement for a while but this seems set to change come 1 May.
The group has announced a series of events to take place on May Day including an “occupation” on the London Underground.
The details of the proposed action have not been released but those wishing to take part have been asked to go along to either Finsbury Square or Liverpool Street station wearing their finest work wear and bring white flowers.
Occupy London has made a special invite to musicians, artists and performers.
“As May Day is a day for all workers, Occupy supporters are planning ‘Occupy the tube’, a fun and inspiring event starting on Tuesday morning in the centre of the City of London,” says the notice on the website.
“All will be revealed that morning but look out for white flowers.”
Indeed we will.
